The most common conversion I've heard of is using an RV stator & flywheel / CDIBOX. A guy not far from you (Kevin Bobnick) did exactly that. I don't recall the details for machining, but it did work & he used one of the FIREPLUG CDI's. You could also look at the GPX parts & see if that would be any easier, same with TX stuff. I think the most difficult part will be crankshaft taper to match the flywheel, then making a stator-plate or modifying another to fit & phased correctly. We cover all the CDI's for the above mentioned (TX coming shortly) so getting everything else to fit internally is the trick.
