We are an OEM supplier that specializes in custom development of precision fuel quantity level indication (FQI) modules for LNG fuel level monitoring using Capacitance Probes.
Our solutions are tailored specifically for applications such as commercial trucks, buses, heavy-equipment and other commercial / industrial vehicles utilizing LNG as an alternative fuel to diesel.
Our FQI module connects to the internal tank capacitance probe, and measures the fuel level via a coaxial cable. The fuel level data is translated to a compatible signal and displayed in the cab as fuel-level. The module operates on 9V-32V DC standard vehicle power systems.
TECHNOLOGY: Our various FQI modules leverages a RISC microcontroller and proprietary software to precisely monitor LNG fuel levels. Our proprietary technology eliminates drift and errors associated with antiquated analog modules. Calibration values are securely stored up to 10 years (if power is lost) in memory, ensuring consistent results and reliability throughout the vehicle’s lifetime. Integrated multi-color LEDs provide visual status for setup, diagnostics and operation.

SSU-33/240-12: 33-ohm to 240-ohm output (direct-drive fuel-gauge)
SSU-4/20-12: 4ma~20mA Current Output
SSU-0/5-12: 0~5V Analog Voltage Output.
SSU-12C: CAN communication (J1939)
POWER: Vehicle wiring is standard 12V/24 VDC @ 5A, (20AWG typical) for power, signal & ground. Module is compatible with 12VDC or 24VDC input power.
CALIBRATION: Calibration options include a non-intrusive manual process, or can be performed using our Level-DAQ calibration APP on a standard laptop to set the EMPTY and FULL levels. The calibration process adjusts for varying capacitance probe lengths (tank sizes) and cable lengths, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of measurement applications. This eliminates the need to match the sending unit to specific cables or probes, reducing inventory costs and simplifying purchasing by providing a single module suitable for all vehicle applications
